Where do scientists look for reliable research information?

Take home message

Scientists look in highly respected peer-reviewed journals for research information.

The peer-review process

When the paper is published, a four page paper might become a one page article.  A summary of the article then becomes an abstract in PubMed. The research then becomes one or two sentences in a textbook.
